About this Year's Conference

The National CERT Association (NCA) is excited to announce the 2024 National CERT Conference will be held in Washington, DC.  This year, the NCA is partnering with Serve DC - The Mayor’s Office on Volunteerism & Partnerships and the National Capitol Region CERT Consortium (NCR CERT). Having the conference in DC. will provide the opportunity to leverage subject matter experts from FEMA, which is headquartered in Washington DC, at this year’s conference.

Theme

The 2024 National CERT Conference theme is “Many Teams, One Mission,” highlighting CERT’s ability to be flexible as a community resource as well as being inclusive to all community members. The conference will feature training and presentations for all levels of CERT including Emergency Managers, Program Managers, Instructors, Volunteers, and CERT Partners.

Location

‍Held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC, conference dates start on Tuesday, July 23rd through Friday, July 26th. 

This year’s conference will provide new experiences, important training, and exciting opportunities for attendees.  We expect to host over 600 attendees from more than 40 states and territories.  Don’t miss your chance to sign up today.  We look forward to seeing everyone in Washington DC!

ADA Accomodations

It is our hope to host a conference which invites and facilitates meaningful participation for all attendees. If you have ADA accommodations requests or accessibility concerns or questions, please let us know by July 8 so that we can address them promptly and efficiently. Conference Discounts

For CERT volunteers who are paying their own way to the conference, there are a limited number of 50% discounts available ($150 for Early Bird, and $175 after June 7). To apply for a discount have your local CERT Program Manager email SuuVa Tai at suuva@nationalcert.org to verify that you are a volunteer. You will then be sent a discount code to apply at registration.
